Following the successful launch of the Goan Cookery Classes for tourists last season by Go Goa Ltd and Kingslee Restaurant in Betalbatim, Goa – guests have been arriving regularly and students return home having experienced something a little different from their holiday.

There are six spots available at each course, non residential day classes are also available for visitors to Goa who love the food and would love to know how to prepare it when they return home to relive the delights of the visit to Goa.

The guests stay at the Kingslee for 7 days; the course runs each morning from 9am – 12 noon for 5 days they train under the guidance of a top chef in the area and the watchful eye of Inacio and Beni Fernandes proprietors of the Kingslee, in the art of cooking Goan Food. 

They enjoy the results of their efforts at lunch and spend the afternoon discovering the delights of Goa away from the beaches, heritage walks in Panjim, visiting Old Goa, seeing the history of the state by visiting Braganza House - Chandor, Rachol Seminary – Raia, Palacio Do Deao – Quepem and Heritage Village – Cansaulim, or just lazing on a beach relaxing.
